Mildred Jane Clark

March 14, 1935 – October 28, 2021

Peacefully on October 28 at Georgetown Hospital after 4 months in palliative care. Mildred, in her 87th year, was the beloved wife of William Clark and had just celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary. Proud mother of Bill (Margaret) Clark, Laura (Richard) Thompson, and Douglas (Janette) Clark. Loved “Gramma” to Melody (Brian), Ryan (Michelle), Matthew (Silje), Daniel (Sara), Stephanie (James), Scott, James, and Shannon. Loved grandmother to 7 great grandchildren.

Mildred was involved in scouting, the Brampton Scottish Club, Brampton Aquarium Club, and various church activities. She made many lasting friendships from those activities. She loved a good laugh and was a very generous person to anyone in need. She will be dearly missed.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the dedicated nurses at Georgetown Hospital who worked to keep mom comfortable. In respect to Mildred’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held and interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. As per Milly’s request, a celebration of life party will be held early in 2022.
