She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Allen Bennett and the loving mother of Margaret, Dorothy and her husband Steve Gallagher, Allen and his wife Kathy and Doug and his wife Barb.
Lydia was the loving grandmother of Tom, Chantelle, Eric, Christopher, Jeffrey, David, Stephen, Brandon and Christine and the great-grandmother of Johnny and Colin.
A private family funeral was conducted by the Rev. Canon Mark Tiller in the “Shoemaker Chapel” MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton.
Cremation will be followed by interment at Bury, Quebec at a later date.
