Janet passed away at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in the company of her family on Saturday, September 8th, 2012. She was predeceased by Anthony Grant and is survived by her husband Tom and her sister Anne Hood.
She will be missed by her daughters: Karen, Annette, Lynn and Kirsty and her sons-in-law Steve, Dave, John and Roger, as well as her grandchildren: Michael, Chantel, Jacob, Liam, Lucas, Kirstan, Cory, Iain, Zachary and Erika.
The family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton on Wednesday, September 12th from 7 to 9 p.m.
A joint Legion and Legion Ladies’ Auxiliary tribute will take place at seven o’clock.
The funeral service will be conducted in the “Shoemaker Chapel” by the Rev. Canon J. Mark Tiller on Thursday at eleven o’clock.
