Sweet, kind, smart, funny these are just a few words that described Charles Taylor. Everyone that met him instantly liked him. He was known by some friends as, "Dude" and by family as, "Sonny". He liked to say that he had been all over the world. He was fond of playing cards and dominoes, loved Andy Griffin and Elvis Presley, and just being with family. He attended the base chapels at Dyess and Lackland where he became actively involved and enjoyed serving.
He was preceded in death by his parents;his wife, Maria F. Taylor; and his sister, Bernice Worthy.
He is survived by daughter Bernardeta Taylor; two nephews, Larry and Terry; a host of cousins; and many beloved in-laws in Spain.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.elliott-hamil.com for the Taylor family.
