Tammy Katrice Jordan

Tammy Katrice Jordan, 31, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013 in Abilene. Graveside services will be 2:00p.m., Thursday, November 21, 2013 in the Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery with Mike Jones officiating under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home, 1443 N. 2nd St., Abilene. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 to 8p.m. at the funeral home.

Tammy was born on October 8, 1982 in Abilene, TX to Tommy and La Zeda Pringle Jordan.

Tammy worked in the healthcare industry as a care provider and was a cashier at United Supermarket. She loved helping people and would always encourage the “underdog”. Tammy was a daddy’s girl, beloved daughter, wonderful sister and aunt, and just an all-around good, sweet person.

Preceding her in death were her maternal and paternal grandparents; three uncles; one aunt; one cousin; and her beloved dog, Peanut.

Survivors include her parents, Tommy and La Zeda Jordan; brothers, Craig Jordan and wife, Jennifer and Kevin Jordan and wife, Melinda; four nieces and one nephew, Rachel, Hannah, Kaleb, Aymie, and Lexi Jordan; two beloved dogs, Lacy and Charlie; and numerous special friends and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Medical Care Mission of Abilene, 302 Medical Dr., Abilene, TX 79601.
