Luis Anthony Acosta, 60, of Abilene, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 in Abilene. He was born on June 17, 1964 in Abilene to Pete and Janie Acosta. Luis worked as a Tire Technician and was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
He is survived by his wife, Marcy Acosta; mother, Janie Acosta; children, Joshua Acosta and Anselma Acosta; step-children, Natasha De La Cruz and husband Rudy, Malinda Garcia and husband Juan and Fernando Vargas, Jr.; one grandchild, Elias Acosta; sisters, Ronnie Mendoza and husband Pito, Dianna Martinez and husband Joey; brother, Mario Acosta and wife Suzanne; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Pete Acosta in 2011.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel, 5701 US Hwy 277 South, Abilene, Texas.
