Joe was born April 25, 1962, in Breckenridge Texas to Larry Joe Deaver Sr. and Priscilla Faye Harber Deaver. After Priscilla’s untimely passing, Joe was raised in Abilene Texas by his father Larry and his mom Darlene with his siblings Eve and Allen. Growing up he enjoyed lake trips with his family and going to the Ranch to spend time with his Grandaddy Morris. Joe had two daughters, Nichole and Larae, that he loved with all his heart with then wife Francie Ford.
On November 7, 1992, he married his beloved wife Kathy Sanders in Tennessee and gained a bonus daughter, Angi, who he loved as his own. Joe worked as a pipe-fitter most of his life and worked his way up to being a Superintendent in his industry. Joe worked hard and loved harder and was always the life of the party. He enjoyed playing his guitar, golfing, fishing, playing, and watching sports of all kinds. He loved to watch the Tennessee Titans and the Dallas Cowboys but his favorite games to watch were those played by his grandchildren. Grandaddy, as the kids called him, always tried hard to make things extra fun, from having an inflatable pool in his garage or a waterslide in the front yard to our beach and lake trips. We are blessed with some amazing memories to hold dear in our hearts.
Joe is survived by his wife Kathy Deaver of Port Arthur; daughters Nichole (Jason) Davis of Merkel TX, Larae (Cory) Baldock of Merkel TX and Angi (Eric) Forsythe of Jackson TN; grandchildren, Tatum, Justice and Michaela Davis of Merkel TX, Landon Floyd of Merkel TX, Cole and Kayla Forsythe of Jackson TN; mother Darlene Deaver of Abilene TX; sister Eve McLendon of Abilene TX and brother Allen (Montie) Deaver of Kyle TX and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and outlaws who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother Priscilla Faye Harber Deaver and his Father Larry Joe Deaver Sr.
Dad you will be truly and deeply missed by all who knew and loved you. Until we meet again at the Lake House in the Sky you will be forever in our hearts!
