Jody Wittie

A visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday May 25, 2023 at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home in Abilene, TX 79606.

Jody was born and raised in Abilene, TX to Jack Wittie and Betty Jean Brown on December 1, 1955. He married the love of his life Patricia Diane on September 18, 1992. Jody joined the Army where he served for 3 years, locally in the States and abroad. He became a diesel mechanic and soon after opened his own business, Jo-Dee’s Diesel Services for 20 years. He loved pets and enjoyed getting his hands greasy when he would work as a diesel mechanic.

Jody was preceded in death by his dad, Jack Wittie and step-mother Norma; maternal and paternal grandparents.

Jody is survived by his wife Patricia Diane Wittie, step-children; Christy Stokes, Cody Clouse, sister; Trudy Logan (Gene); brother David Wittie (Katherine), 3 grandchildren whom would call him Pa-Pa; Gabby Stokes, Jaden Stokes, Leah Clouse, Harlee Clouse and numerous cousins.
