A funeral service remembering his life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 Highway 277 South, Abilene, with Reverend Luke Back, Rector of the Church of the Heavenly Rest officiating. The family will receive friends at a visitation 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Jeff was born on October 8, 1985 in Baytown, Texas. The second of three children of Lynn Beckham, Jeff grew up loving the outdoors. He graduated from Cooper High School in 2004. As a young man, Jeff loved to hunt, fish, and ride his horse. Days spent at the family ranch, especially round-ups, were some of his favorite times. Jeff aspired one day to be the foreman of the ranch. He was a fun-loving, free-spirited man, and was the best friend anyone could have. Jeff made many close friends throughout his life and had an impact on everyone that he met. His high school sweetheart and love of his life was Jennifer Schmidt Davis, whom he married on March 31, 2012 after nine years together. They had two precious young children, Jeffrey Jayton Brandon Davis and Jeslyn Deanne Davis who were his pride and joy.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Dane Davis and an uncle, Daryl Davis.
Jeff is survived by his wife Jennifer; their two children Jayton and Jeslyn; and by his mother, Lynn Beckham Marderosian. He is also survived by two brothers, Robert Davis and his wife Kelcee of Abilene, Texas and their two children Gage and Ryker, and Justin Marderosian and his wife Leigha and their children Brooklynn, Elijiah, and Exavien; and by grandparents, Peggy and Bob Beckham of Abilene, Texas. Numerous aunts and uncles include, Scott and Kim Davis of Abilene, Darla El Khafif, Denean and Joe Knight of Ohio, and Wes Davis of the Philippines, John and Carolyn Beckham, Rob and Julie Beckham, and Jay and Nancy Capra, all of Abilene, Texas; as well as, his stepfather, George Marderosian; numerous cousins and other family, including Deanne and Walter Payne; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be sent to Ben Richey Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 6839, Abilene, Texas 79608.
