Grace “Rindy” was born in Abilene, TX on April 22, 1960 to James and Gracie (Chittum) Jackson. At the time of her birth, her father was deployed overseas. Her life took her to many places that include Kansas, Ohio, Turkey, Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, and all over Texas --- San Antonio, Orange, Beaumont, San Angelo, and Kingwood, TX. Grace loved to laugh and could often be found listening to her family and friends, helping them to find humor in difficult situations. She was blessed with three children who were very active while growing up, and she was always on the go. She loved to talk about how proud she was of her children and joked that they “made her look good” as she joyfully shared in their accomplishments. She had special relationships with family members and loved them all with a very big heart. If you knew Rindy, you knew that her absolute favorite color was purple and that she had a deep and abiding love for music.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Douglas Jackson, and brother, James Fredrick Jackson.
Grace leaves many who will cherish precious memories: her mother, Gracie Jackson of Springboro, OH; her sister, Rhonda Hendizadeh and husband Nader of Springboro, OH; brother, Gary Jackson and wife Charlotte of Kingwood, TX; daughter, Jennifer Love of Spring TX; son Joel and wife Amelia Love of Houston, TX and daughter Danielle Arceneaux of Winnie, TX; four grandchildren, Levi Bates, Riley Arceneaux, Gracie Arceneaux, Dean Love, and also many friends and extended family.
