Aleatha Geraldine Davis, 92, of Breckenridge (formerly of Longview, TX) passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at a medical center in Abilene, TX. Graveside services will be 2:00p.m., Saturday, October 13, 2012 in the Lakeview Cemetery in Longview, Texas under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St., Abilene.
Aleatha was born on March 30, 1920 in Kansas City, Missouri to Alpha and Hazel Sampson. She married Willard Davis in Centralia, Missouri on January 22, 1938. They were happily married for 56 years.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Herbert Sampson; and a sister, Wilma Chevaleir.
Survivors include one son, Neil Davis and wife, Janice of Breckenridge, TX; three grandchildren, Dennis Davis and wife, Jana of Breckenridge, Marion Dick and husband, Russell of San Antonio, and Kristie Ethridge of Breckenridge; seven great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Sara Davis, Abe, Jessica and Spencer Dick, and Hanna and Davis Ethridge.
