I am sorry I was unable to attend the memorial but your loss is felt by everyone who knew Wayne.

Sorry to hear of Wayne's passing.  We have very fond memories of him coaching Scott in Atom "B".  Also great memories of Darrell and all the kids and parents on road trips for the "Awesome" squirt ball team. Miller Family, it is with a very heavy heart that I send you my condolences on hearing the news of Wayne's passing.  He was larger than life and had the spirit of a kid at heart. My friendship with Wayne began 30 years ago when we both started playing Old Timers hockey in North Delta. He was a regular player & for many years was in charge of supplying the after game “refreshments”. I shall always remember his jovial attitude in the dressing room & solid commitment to the team. From all of us “original” Shaky Blades we say Good-bye to you Wayne. Our most sincere condolences to you Linda & all of the rest of the Miller family.

I was saddened to hear of Wayne's passing.  I knew Wayne through my father and will always remember him as a caring and warm person.  My family and I will miss the occasional run ins at Black Mountain Ranch.

Wayne was a kind, gentle and understanding man who always took the time to help others out. I never heard him utter a negative thought about anyone or complain about his lot in life. He was an shining example of what everyone wishes they had in a friend, father, and co-worker. We will all miss him at Surrey Transit.

I am so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing our good neighbour for so many years and great baseball coach.  My deepest sympathy.

Mr. Miller always made you feel welcome and took the time to find out what you were up to. I feel lucky to have known him through my friend and as part of the fastpitch teams he coached when we were kids. To the Millers, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Growing up in Hastings East I was lucky to have Wayne as a friend.I will always remember the fun we had.When Wayne joined the cadets he would practice marching and had me practice with him while we roamed around the east end "Left left left right left Halt check one two"he would shout.Also I remember him driving the car he drove in the demoliton derby at old Callister Park home and getting a fistful of tickets for no lights,windows etc.Spending time with Wayne and his family at the rented cabin at Cultus Lake and working with Wayne and his dad demolishing houses.Many more memories to long to list.I remember him saying to me that his goal in life was to get a good job get married and have a family.He fulfilled those goals.Wayne was always one of those good guys never saying anything bad aboout anyone and always there to help any way he could.

My Deepest Condolences to Waynes family. He was a good guy always ready to help. His involvement with Minor Hockey was exemplary. We worked together at B.C. Transit for some time and found him to be a good man to work with. He will be missed by all who knew him.

I knew Wayne while I was with Coast Mountain and he always had a smile on his face and never said anything bad about anyone.  He was a great guy and he will be missed.  Good bye friend.
