Terence Maurice Toftager

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terence (Terry) Maurice Toftager, who peacefully went to be with his Lord and Saviour on November 10, 2024, at the age of 80. Born in Prince Rupert, BC, Terry lived a life filled with faith, hard work, and love. A man of many talents, Terry was an entrepreneur, logging truck owner/operator, carpenter, and musician, who approached every endeavor with dedication and a deep sense of purpose. Above all, his faith in God was the cornerstone of his life, shaping the way he loved, worked, and served others.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Marj, his sons Lyndon (Laura), Jay (Jen), and Marlin (Nelson), and his sister Laurie Minuk. He is also deeply mourned by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride. Terry is further mourned by many other connected family members, whose lives he touched with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.

He was predeceased by his father, Howard Cecil Toftager, and his mother, Alma Toftager, whose love and guidance shaped him into the man he became.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army in Terry’s memory. His legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial service will be held, Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Northview Community Church, 32040 Downes Rd., Abbotsford.
