Russell passed into the presence of our Lord on September 25, 2013 at the age of 84 at Abbotsford Hospital. Russell was born in Regina, Saskatchewan and moved to Victoria, BC with his mom, two sisters and brother. Russell met Betty, his wife of 57 years in Victoria and they were married in 1955. They spent the majority of their life in Burnaby. Russell is predeceased by his wife Betty on July 8, 2012 and is survived by his children, Joanne (Don) Blaak, Russell Junior (Antoinette) and Adele (Alan), six grandchildren and one great grandson. He is also survived by his brother David and sisters Doris and Jean. Russell was a devoted husband and family man who loved to play golf, collect stamps, read and was a man of great faith. Russell’s life was full and rich and he will never be forgotten.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at the Calvin Presbyterian Church, 2597 Bourquin Crescent East, Abbotsford followed by burial at Maclure Road Mennonite Cemetery.
