Peggy Lee Friesen

Peggy was predeceased by her father Diedrich H Friesen in 2001 her sister Janie and brother Donald in 2006, and her younger brother Arnold in 2007.

She is survived by her mother Elsie Friesen, sisters Fran (Glen) Gordon, Sharon (Garry) Mutter, Norma Bavalis, Edith (Larry) Thoreson, and brother Elmer, 10 nephews and nieces Terry, David, Michelle, Amanda, Lisa, Julie, Maria, Chas, Wade and Janie Lee, along with 16 great nieces and nephews and one great-great niece. As well as extended family and friends.

Peggy was a founding member of the Fraser Valley Chapter Muscular Dystrophy Canada and will be missed by the many friends she made over the years at the Telethon and Christmas parties.

The family would like to thank two of her special care workers/friends Sue and Monika for all they did for our sister Peggy.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Peggy loved to sing, she often called family and friends to serenade or have a sing-a-long “sung obnoxiously loud with endless love”. And we will forever be singing to her “You are our sunshine, our only sunshine.”
