Left to deeply miss her are her children: Mike (Bridget) Firth, Pat (Angie) Firth, Cathy Fitzgerald and Gilbert (Shelley) Coss. She will also be sadly missed by her 10 loving grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren whom she adored, siblings: John Bader, Sr Diana Bader, Betty (Larry) Matthews, Colleen (Jack) Graber, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Martin Bader and Marjorie Richards, sister-in-law Margaret Bader and her great grandson Aiden Firth.
Mom’s deepest friendships were with her family and her greatest joy was spending time with them. Watching golf while enjoying a glass of white wine was a close second.
For many years Mom was an avid golfer, having played many of the courses up and down the West Coast of North America. For a time she was President of the Ladies Club at the Fort Golf Course, where she shot a hole-in-one twice on the same hole, and was asked to try out for the BCLPGA. Although she had to give up the sport up ten years ago, she kept her clubs, “just in case!”
