Donald Lloyd Brenneman

Born 1936 , Don grew up in St. Catherine’s, ON and as a young man moved west to Alberta where he met and married his beautiful wife Margaret. In their 52 years of marriage he raised 3 children Scott, Dawn-Marie (Peppy) and Brett. He poured himself into the lives of his 7 grandchildren Marc, Carrie, Carter, David, Brooke, Rachael and Shelby.

Don was a man of integrity who would freely discuss his views on politics, religion and world events. He was not held hostage by mainstream thought and loved a lively debate. Don was a respected businessman earning many business awards and accolades in his career. He had a passion for learning and would read history books, biographies and a vast array of material in order to expand his horizons. Don loved his family intensely and he will be missed by family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Margaret; 3 children: Scott (Yvonne), Dawn-Marie (Wally) Stevens, Brett (Shannon); 7 grandchildren; 10 siblings and their families.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Henderson's Fraser Valley Funeral Home at 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC.
