Anny Toews (Nee Kroeker)

at the age of 84, on July 9th, 2021 at her home at 3:34 pm. Anny passed away peacefully with

some of her children by her bedside as she had wished. Anny is predeceased by her husband

Jonathan Toews and son Sichard Toews. Our mom will be greatly missed by her son Art Toews

(Denise), son Henry Toews (Heidi), son Herb Toews (Jeanie), Fanny Toews(daughter-in-law),

son Werner Toews (Tami), daughter Verena Reardon, daughter Blondine Loewen (Ed) and son

Harry Toews (Joanne).

Anny has 26 grandchildren and 21 great grand kids who all miss her.

Anny gave her life to the Lord at a very young age and lived the rest of her life serving the Lord.

Anny was born on August 18, 1936 in Fernheim, Paraguay to Nikolai and Anna Kroeker and

was the 3rd child of 14. As one of the older siblings in her family, she had a lot of responsibility

put on her and learned to work hard which served her greatly as she was raising her own family.

Anny was married at a young age of 18 to Jonathan Toews and had 8 children with him. Anny

and her family moved to Canada in 1971.They worked hard to get ahead, picking eggs, catching

chickens and picking raspberries etc and soon were able to buy their own land and start a

chicken farm. Anny enjoyed being on the farm and always had lots of zwieback and surrumps

platz for any family and visitors who showed up.

Anny has lived a full life and enjoyed visiting with her many grandchildren and great

grandchildren.

Anny will be dearly missed but we also know she has gone home to be with Jesus.
