He is survived by 6 children: Erik (Joy), Gerda (Frank), Tina (Peter), Arne (Lois), Chris (Jen) and Kerry (Jim) and their families.
He was predeceased by an infant son and his wife Ruth.
Alfred was born in Denmark and in 1957 immigrated to Canada with Ruth and family where they made BC their home. Alfred loved gardening and family time. He will be missed.
Alfred was laid to rest beside his wife, Ruth at Hazelwood Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bevan Lodge and Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Doctor J. Chan for their incredible care.
