We believe unique lives deserve unique celebrations. Our experienced staff knows just how to create your vision or bring your loved one's final wishes to reality. Personal touches can be small—photo displays, multimedia tributes and personal playlists are common—or more elaborate. We could hang a cross behind the casket, have a kayak at the front door, give out cotton candy at the end of the service or have our team wear Cowboys jerseys. And if it's a grand celebration of life that you're looking for—a modern gathering with themed decor, live music, favorite food and drinks, and a send-off that reflects the personality and passions of yourself or your loved one—that's our speciality.

These are just a few ideas. Let's imagine something special together.

Laurel Land Memorial Park cemetery

Cemetery grounds at Laurel Land Funeral Home & Memorial ParkLaurel Land Memorial Park opened in the early 1920s. The memorial park was originally named Park Lawn Cemetery. With nearly 100 developed acres and 50 undeveloped acres, the cemetery has plenty of space to accommodate families for years to come. Today, there are more than 35,000 people are buried at Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Picturesque cemetery grounds in Fort Worth

Cemetery grounds at Laurel Land Funeral Home & Memorial ParkWith mature trees, sweeping green lawns and thoughtful statues throughout, Laurel Land Memorial Park features well-maintained grounds that create a serene spot to remember and reflect. Much of the marble used for the statues was sourced from the same Italian quarry that Michelangelo used for his masterful works.

Among the picturesque lawns and 45 gardens are 2 areas honoring veterans, 2 masonic gardens and several areas for upright markers. There are many choices for memorialization, including traditional ground burial, indoor or outdoor mausoleum entombment, a cremation garden and prestigious family estates.

As the name implies, it is a peaceful, park-like property. Though Laurel Land Memorial Park has been chosen as the final resting place for notables including a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient, professional football player, an actor and even a famed billiards player, the cemetery is for people of all cultures, backgrounds and faiths. We are a cemetery for all.

Many memorial options

Cremation garden at Laurel Land Funeral Home & Memorial ParkWhether you choose in-ground interment, above-ground entombment or inurnment, Laurel Land Memorial Park offers a burial choice that honors your beliefs and traditions.

Each of the cemetery’s 45 gardens—with names like Last Supper, Rock of Ages and Resurrection—has unique characteristics. The Psalms Garden is reserved for cremated remains. Babyland, for infant and youth burials, stretches along the north end of the cemetery.

There are gardens reserved for flat markers and others for upright monuments. Located in the southeast corner of Laurel Land Memorial Park and one of the property's newer gardens, the Garden of Reflections was built to accommodate an array of burial options, including traditional side-by-side ground burials, lawn-crypts and columbaria. The focal point of the garden is a lovely trellis and water feature.

Chapel of Chimes

Laurel Land Funeral Home & Memorial ParkA replica of St. Paul’s Church in Mount Vernon, New York, where a trial was held that led to the freedom of the press, the Chapel of Chimes was constructed in 1953 as a crematorium and chapel. With an exterior of Texas limestone, the building underwent extensive remodeling and was rededicated as a chapel only in February 1993. It seats 65 guests for a funeral or memorial. Its bells toll softly from dawn to dusk.

New in 2019, the Chapel of Chimes cremation garden lies right next to the structure. It includes options for semiprivate columbarium, slanted ground markers, pedestal and park benches, and niche-front columns.
