With acres of mature trees, shapely hedgerows, sun-dappled lawns, decorative sculptures and paved sidewalks, Restwood Memorial Park is among the more beautiful cemeteries you are likely to see in Brazoria County.

The brick pavilion is an option for small outdoor services, and burial choices range from traditional ground burial with flat or upright monuments to above-ground entombment in our mausoleums. All in all, the cemetery is a peaceful place to visit and reflect.

History

Restwood Memorial Park, centrally located in the Brazosport community, was founded in 1945 as the area’s first perpetual care cemetery. For many years, Restwood Memorial Park was a premier standalone cemetery in the Houston, Sugar Land, and Baytown metropolitan areas.

In the early 2000s, the cemetery owners realized that the community had a need for a funeral home capable of providing a high standard of service. As a result, they opened Restwood Funeral Home in 2009.

Today, Restwood Funeral Home and Restwood Memorial Park are members of the Dignity Memorial network of funeral, burial, cremation and cemetery service providers.
