A beautiful new funeral home

Vogler Funeral & Cremation Service at Forsyth Memorial Park is a lovely place for families and friends to gather, reflect and honor a loved one. Spacious with a lodgelike feel, it has natural stone, neutral colors, large fireplaces, custom plantation shutters and an abundance of natural light.

A versatile chapel comfortably accommodates 150 guests with chair seating easily configured to your preferences. With a vaulted ceiling, rustic chandeliers and wood beams, the chapel is bright and comfortable. It opens up to a porte cochère for an easy exit from the building to the cemetery grounds.

Two visitation rooms—one small, one large—connect with barn-style sliding doors. The large visitation room has granite countertops and is perfect for hosting a catered event before or after a service. Outside the visitation area, you'll find a wraparound veranda with a stone floor, stone fireplace and big fans.

The funeral home also has private arrangement rooms and a hospitality room. Near the visitation rooms, the hospitality room has everything a caterer needs. There are granite countertops, a refrigerator, a microwave and more.

The whole building is outfitted with advanced technology, including flat-screen televisions for personalized tribute videos, slideshows and music in both interior and exterior spaces. We are also handicap accessible, offer ample parking and are the only funeral home in the area with a generator that can power the whole building.

As part of our service to veterans, we participate in the Dignity Memorial® Homeless Veterans Burial Program, a cooperative effort with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, local medical examiners, coroners, veterans’ advocates and veterans’ organizations. Through the Homeless Veterans Burial Program, homeless and indigent veterans who have no family to claim them are identified and provided with a proper military burial.

We also participate in the Dignity Memorial Public Servants Program, which recognizes the courage and selflessness of those who serve. This program offers dignified and honorable tributes, at no cost, for career and volunteer law enforcement officers, firefighters and emergency services personnel who fall in the line of duty.

A final resting place for generations of families, Forsyth Memorial Park serves the Old Town and Greenbrier communities, as well as surrounding areas of Clemmons, Lewisville and Winston-Salem.
