History

Blake-Doyle Funeral Home was founded in 1886 in Camden, New Jersey, as Blake Funeral Home. In 1955, Robert J. Blake, grandson of original founder George Blake, brought the funeral home to Collingswood. James F. Doyle, who served families at Blake Funeral Home since 1959, purchased the funeral home from Robert in 1984 and changed the name to Blake-Doyle Funeral Home.

In 1999, Blake-Doyle Funeral Home joined the Dignity Memorial^® network, North America’s most trusted provider of funeral, cremation and cemetery services. Today, we serve families with the warmth of a hometown team and benefits like no other.
