Personalized funeral services

Cypress View Mausoleum, Mortuary and Crematory is committed to providing families with fresh ideas and innovative ways to ensure loved ones receive a personalized tribute and that friends and family have strong personal memories that they can carry into the future.

One example of the special services we can provide: We own 1 of only 12 specially produced Harley-Davidson funeral coaches. This custom-built motorcycle is equipped for funeral services, and allows friends and fellow riders to join their loved one on a final ride. The coach can transport both standard and oversized caskets for funeral services as well as urns for cremation ceremonies.

The funeral home has a large chapel as well as the more intimate Old World Chapel for smaller gatherings. Filled with light and with a high ceiling, the large chapel can be configured for receptions, allowing us to offer one of the largest reception facilities in the area.

On-site crematory

Cremation is important in certain religions and cultures, and more and more people are choosing cremation over more traditional burial options, but most people aren’t familiar with all of their choices when it comes to cremation. You may choose a direct cremation without a funeral or memorial service of any kind; a funeral with the body present, followed by cremation; or a cremation followed by a cemetery service or a celebration of life.

Cypress View has a private on-site crematory, which means your loved one never leaves our care. The crematory is especially attractive to people of the Hindu, Sikh and Buddhist faiths, as their traditions usually involve a walking procession to the crematory.

Our cemetery and mausoleum

With a wide variety of cemetery property, Cypress View can offer final disposition options to families no matter their financial means.

The mausoleum has one of the larger private art collections in California. It comprises more than 500 marble and bronze statues, antique furnishings and etchings. The main mausoleum building is more than 100,000 square feet on 2 levels. A breath-taking space of marble and stained glass, it is a feast for both eyes and heart. It holds single, tandem and companion crypts. A large Jewish section owned by Congregation Beth Israel offers both crypts and niches.

Cypress View offers estate crypts that accommodate up to 2 casketed entombments and up to 4 entombments of cremated remains. Indoor glass-front niches allow for personalization. Cypress also has a cremation garden and granite columbarium. 

The cemetery's Garden of Tranquility features double-depth lawn crypts for traditional in-ground burial. These lawn crypts are some of the more affordable burial plots in San Diego County.
