Frances’ family moved from Illinois to Yuma in the early 1930’s where she attended local schools and graduated from Yuma Union High School.
On August 23, 1940, she married Bernard (Ben) Raebel, and this union produced two sons, Leroy Raebel and Martin Raebel. As time passed, their family grew with the birth of 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Over the years, Frances worked at various jobs including the Yuma County Recorder’s Office, Yuma County Director of Elections and as a Consultant to La Paz County Elections Department.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Bernard Raebel, her parents Merville and Ethel Pierson, siblings Happy (Virginia) Pierson, Irene (Buck) Huffman, Ruth (Richard) Northrop and Daughter-In-Law Gwen Raebel.
Frances is survived by her loving sons Leroy (Mary) Raebel of Denton, Texas and Martin (Jan) Raebel of Yuma; grandchildren Robin Raebel, Donna (Nancy) Raebel, Clayton Raebel, Cathy (Dan) Hewson and Marty (Kathy) Raebel; and 7 great grandchildren.
Frances was a loving, caring wife, mother and grandmother whose love and guidance will be greatly missed until we all meet again in Heaven.
