Leon Edwin Robbins, known affectionately as Pops, Papa, and Paw Paw, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Born on November 9th, 1947, he was the son of the late Jack and Pauline Robbins. With a strong will and unwavering drive, Leon’s life was a testament to passion, purpose, and deep love for family.
Leon, a graduate of Hawkinsville High School and a 200-meter state champion runner, continued his education at the University of Georgia and Gordon Military College in Barnesville, GA. Known as a powerhouse in the real estate industry, Leon co-founded Robbins Realty with his wife Tina in 2004. Together, they became recognized as Top Producing Realtors in North Metro Atlanta.
Prior to his exemplary career in real estate, Leon served as Regional Sr. Vice President of Marketing at the Butler Shoe Co. in Annapolis, MD.
In 1992, Leon married the love of his life, Tina, and together, they raised two children: Zachary Gamble and Nikki Copeland. They shared countless memories at Lake Lanier, where they were each other’s rock, soul mate, and forever best friend.
Leon's life was a beautiful balance of work and play. He found joy in boating, jet skiing, and spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. A masterful storyteller, avid reader, and devoted Die-hard GA Bulldogs fan, Leon's family was the heart and soul of his cherished life, a testament to his deep love and commitment to them.
Leon was predeceased by his parents and his son Zach. He leaves behind his wife Tina, daughter Nikki, and her husband Chris sister Andrea, and her husband Ira, their sons Jason and Craig, grandchildren Luke, Emma, Isabel, Chace, and Hannah, numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Please join us in honoring the life and legacy of Leon Edwin Robbins at a service on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at 3 PM at the Woodstock Funeral Home located at 8955 Main St., Woodstock, GA. Prior to the funeral service, the family will welcome guests starting at 2 PM. We invite the community, friends, and family to join us in remembering and celebrating the life of this remarkable man.
Following the service, a food and beverage reception will be hosted at Roy and Chance's home, 26 Spruce Street NE, White, GA, where family and close friends can gather to share memories and celebrate Leon’s life.

who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
