Robert Lee Mink

Robert Lee Mink, age 88 of Williamsburg, Virginia, born on September 26, 1935 and formerly of Clemson, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. After serving in the Navy, Robert (Bob) attended Kansas State University, graduating with an accounting Degree. He worked for Sears, Kroger and finally as CEO of Stop-n-Go convenience stores. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Anderson, South Carolina and most recently attended St. Olaf Church in Williamsburg, Virginia. Robert enjoyed playing golf, boating, Clemson Football, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Tilghman Mink. Robert is also survived by his loving children, Sherry Phipps and her husband Robert, Michael Mink and his wife Nancy, Mitchell Mink and his wife Christina, Seven Grandchildren; Brian Phipps, Lindsey Phipps, Lauren (Bobby) Castrucci, Courtney (Brian) Sherman, Sam Mink, Alex (Blythe) Mink, and Andrew (Necia) Mink. He is additionally survived by eight great-grandchildren, Isabella and Nash Napier, Olivia and Addison Castrucci, George Sherman, Levi and Landon Mink, and Harper Mink. A Remembrance Service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Sea Church, located at 1100 8th North, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 29582. A reception will immediately follow the service at North Myrtle Beach Museum, 799 2nd Avenue North, North Myrtle Beach 29582.
