Born in Vancouver BC, Danny moved to Victoria when he was 6 and it was his home until he passed away. He worked as a car painter I his early years, but was happiest when he began working at the Royal BC Museum. He loved his work and was often there to help someone before they even realized they needed his help. He worked there until his retirement in 2002.
Danny was predeceased by his two beloved sisters Marsha (February 2023) and Colleen (February 2024).
Danny is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jan, daughters Laurie (Dave) and Cathy (Nando) as well as his four grandchildren; Connor, Gordon, Isla, and Rowan.
Danny didn’t want a service but a gathering of family and friends will be held in the summer.
A donation in Danny’s memory may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
