Born in Bayonne and raised in Forked River, Andy graduated St. Joseph’s High School in 1983 and graduated Stockton College in 1987 with a B.S. degree in Business. He was the Senior Managing Director, Head of SBA at Peapack-Gladstone Bank in Princeton for the past ten years. His career spanned 35+ years in the banking field and he was beloved and respected by everyone in the industry.
Andy was a very hard-working man, always in motion, but whenever anyone needed anything, he was there to their rescue. He touched countless lives with his kindness, gentle touch, and an unbelievable sense of humor and laughter. He was passionate about sports and enjoyed playing golf, tennis, and had fond memories of years of playing softball with his brother Paul and their many friends. However, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife and children. He was most proud of his children and all their many accomplishments.
Andy fought bravely through his illness and his legacy of strength and resilience will endure in his family’s hearts forever. He will be deeply missed by his loving and dedicated wife, Lisa (Pamula) Glatz, two beloved children Samantha and Jake and stepson Matthew Torelli, and also by his brother, Paul, and wife, Barbara, of Toms River, NJ, sisters-in-laws Renee Mele of Bethlehem, PA, and Nancy Weber and husband Bret of Felton, DE, and niece Amanda (Glatz) Citron and husband Dylan of Toms River, NJ; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Andy was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Bertha and brother-in-law, John Pamula.
Memorial donations in Andy’s name can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, your favorite charity or your favorite watering hole, where you are instructed to tie a few on and tell a few stories of the GREAT ANDY GLATZ!
