Anna Bendekovich

Anna Bendekovich, age 90, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, May 2, 2024. She was born in Collier, Pennsylvania to Peter Habek and Florence (Thomasvich) Habek. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to festivals, bowling, traveling and dancing. But most of all she loved spending time with her family. Anna was a devoted Catholic member. She is survived by her children: Roseann Blair, Annette Bendekovich (John), Anthony Bendekovich Jr (Edna), June Smith (Bob), Joan Pohlman (Yogi), Velma Drinkard, Janet Nance (Jim), Karen Bendekovich, Barbara Bendekovich (Kehrt); a special granddaughter, Alicia Bendekovich; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Anna is preceded in death by her parents; husband Anthony W. Bendekovich Sr.; three brothers, Walter, Paul and John Habek; one sister, Mary Habek; two grandchildren, Anthony William Bendekovich III and Chad Allen Nance and a long-time companion James French. Visitation will be held Monday May 6, 2024, from 11AM to 2PM at Roselawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 2PM with Reverend Michael Pringle officiating.
