She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Richard L Hamilton; Daughters, Ruth Koch (Ben), Pamela Aycock (Frank); Son, Daniel Bell (Ann-Marie); Step-daughter, April Sellars; Brothers, Robert Sainsbury (Kathy), Richard Sainsbury. She was predeceased by father and mother, Sylvester (Sy) and Ruth Sainsbury; husband, Clifford Bell Sr; son, Clifford Jr; step son, Mark Hamilton; brother, John Sainsbury. She was very proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jean was born in Norwood, MA and grew up on a farm in NH. She accepted the Lord as her Savior August, 1946. She graduated from Christian High School in Cambridge, Massachusetts (now Lexington Christian Academy). She met her deceased husband, Clifford Sr, and married in 1954. After the birth of their first child, they moved to FL where 3 more children were born. She has been a long-time resident of FL for the past 67 years. She worked at Temple Heights Christian Schools, Kash-n-Karry, and Continental Airlines for many years. In her retirement, she worked as a secretary for the private school where her grandsons attended, Hillsborough Baptist School. After losing her husband of 36 years, she joined Landmark Baptist Church where she met her husband, Richard and has faithfully served her Lord and Savior for the past 33 years. Richard proudly proclaims that Jean was a gift from God and an answer to his prayers. She is best known as a lighthouse shining the light and love of Christ to all she met.
Services will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Landmark Baptist Church in Seffner, FL. The family welcomes you for the viewing at 10 am with the Celebration of Life at 11am, which will be Livestreamed for those who cannot attend. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Landmark Baptist Church or plants to keep in memory of their beloved mom and grandmother.
