Marion Louise Brown, born on January 20, 1945, in Salt Spring St. James, Jamaica, West Indies, peacefully answered her Master's call to rest on April 23, 2024. Born to Charles Green(Lannyman/Kelso) and Esmeralda Clark(Essie) Marion was the fourth child in her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Dennis Green, Dezrene Green, Linton Green, and Rashford Green.
Marion pursued her education at Salt Spring All Age School and later graduated from Northwestern Community College. She began her career as a postal clerk before migrating to the United States, where she devoted herself to caring for seniors as a home health aide. Known for her tireless work ethic, Marion dedicated herself to providing for her children and extended family members. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and hard work.
Marion is survived by her loving children Lesa Cameron-Reid (Hugh Reid), Patrick Johnson, and Natiska Cesaire. She is also survived by her grandchildren Christoph Reid, Cameron Reid, Latoya Thomas-Shack, Ashley Thomas, Courtney Thomas Jr., Tyler Johnson, Tequanae Johnson, Tawana Johnson, and Lemora Johnson, as well as her great-grandchildren A’Myiah Shack, Aaliyah Shack, Analia King, and Deion King Jr.
In addition to her immediate family, Marion is mourned by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and numerous relatives and friends. Her memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
