Ann Lee Kowatch

Ann Lee Kowatch, age 93, of Woodbridge, Virginia passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024. During the Great Depression Ann was left at an orphanage to subsequently be adopted at the age of 6 months by Anna & Elmer Shipley. Unfortunately the Shipley marriage did not survive. Ann was raised by Anna & Paul Mondics. Ann met her first husband, Paul Feeback, a seminary graduate, as a result of an evangelist effort. They were married in the fall of 1948. To this union were born 3 children; Ruth, Stephen and Jess. Paul died unexpectedly in March of 1967 leaving Ann the 3 children and a foster child. During a visit to Mount Vernon, Ann became acquainted with Alfred Harvey. They were married in 1969. The marriage ended all too soon with Alfred’s death early 1975. Ann found love once again upon meeting Donald M. Kowatch through Parents without Partners. They were married in May of 1983. Ann was predeceased by her son, Stephen. She is survived by husband, Donald, her daughter, Ruth and her son Jess. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. A visitation for Ann will be held Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. A celebration of life will occur Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. A burial will occur Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Stafford Memorial Park, 154 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, Virginia.
