She was born November 26, 1930 in O’Neill, NE, daughter of Fred W. and Blanche E. Lindberg. She married Lloyd Weber in 1953 in Pasadena California.
Mrs. Weber was a graduate of O’Neill NE High School, Pasadena California City College received a BA from Southern Illinois University and a MS from Sangamon State University now University of Illinois in Springfield. She was a reading teacher in Springfield School District 186 for 22 years. Evelyn was an active member of the Springfield First United Methodist Church, IBT class, and UMW Circles, serving on various committees, King’s Daughters and past president of Lincoln Land Retired Teachers’ Association, PEO chapter ES and United Methodist women.
Survivors: three sons, Gregg (wife Leta) and grandson Travis (wife Elizabeth) of Bedford, NH; Bruce and grandson Blake of Washington, MO; Glen of Danville, IL; and sister Demaris Worth of Bella Vista, AR. Remains have been cremated.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 10:00 am at Springfield First United Methodist Church. Evelyn will be buried at Camp Butler National Cemetery alongside her husband, Lloyd Weber.
