Born on November 10, 1990, in Edmunds, Washington, Kyle was the eldest of Trycia (Smith) and Shawn Cross’ three children. With his parents, sister Alycia, and brother Tyler, Kyle was able experience living in different parts of the Pacific Northwest, where many great family memories were made, including Edmonds and Lynnwood, Washington, and Sweet Home, Oregon. Kyle’s high school years were spent in Coulee Dam, Washington, where he graduated in 2009 from Lake Roosevelt High School.
In his early twenties, Kyle moved to Spokane and started his work with L.I.F.E. Inc., where he provided residential care for the past 11 years. This fit well with his natural gift of caring for others. In autumn of 2013 Kyle met Celena Rasmussen, and they welcomed their daughter Addison in August 2014. He loved his family. Kyle’s starring role was that of devoted dad. Kyle and Addison were inseparable. His daughter was his best friend and he was ever committed to raising her with great love and care. He was an amazing uncle, always spending time with his nieces and nephews. Kyle cared deeply for family members and neighbors. Kyle was a big fan of the Seahawks and could be frequently spotted rocking his Seahawks gear. You could always count on Kyle to bring excitement into any room.
Kyle was a loving, hardworking man with a huge personality, who had such a big heart, and was faithful to his family and friends alike. Kyle’s passing has left a void that cannot be filled, but he will live forever in our hearts.
