Julie Anne Faulk of Richland Washington passed away on April 27, 2024, at the age of 66. Julie lived the majority of her life in the Tri-Cities and worked at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory until her retirement. Julie relocated to Seattle for a short time, but she returned home to be near family, and took on the task of caring for each of her parents in their later years. Julie handled this difficult task with grace, strength and kindness.
Those who knew Julie would describe her as funny, generous and kindhearted, despite a lifelong struggle with severe anxiety. Julie was active with on-line support groups for those with similar challenges and shared her experiences to help others. She was also an avid sports fan and loved all things Seattle Seahawks and Washington Huskies. Her profound love of cats resulted in caring for many stray kittens over the years until they found forever homes. Julie’s sense of humor will be remembered by all those who knew and loved her.
Julie is survived by sister Diane, niece Jillian and nephew Mason, and devoted lifetime friend and partner Tony. If you know someone who struggles with anxiety, please consider reaching out to let them know they are not alone.
