Karen A. Duplan, age 77, of Silver Spring, MD, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. She was born in Washington, D.C., on November 20, 1946, to Arthur and Jean Morrissey. Karen did medical billing for most of her career and married Bernard Duplan on August 4, 1997. Karen had several hobbies, including ceramics, sewing, and astrology. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bernard Duplan, her son Steve McMahon (Magdalena), and her grandchildren, Andrew McMahon and Gabriela McMahon. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
