He played softball and was an avid bowler, bowling in a police league into his 80’s. It was while bowling at Queen Anne Bowl that Jerry met his beloved wife Gail (O’Shaughnessy) of 54 years. Together, they raised three children and one grandchild they adopted. He also fostered a daughter Mariah Quish. Their family expanded further with the arrival of seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. Jerry is survived by his brother, Emmett Lusher, his children Teri (Bob) Wheeler, Farrell (Tina) Lusher, Jason Lusher, Mariah Quish, grandchildren Fran, Ras, Raphael, Mia, and Quinn, and great-grandson, Blake. Jerry enjoyed traveling to his daughter’s homes in Winthrop, then Lopez Island and lastly in Palm Desert where he looked forward to more trips until his illness progressed and travel was no longer an option.
