Mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 30th, 2024 at the age of 76. She was born on May 16th, 1947, in Pueblo, CO, to Francis Keith Williams and Mary Jean Williams. Preceded in death by her brothers, Mark and Kelly Williams. Patricia grew up in Pueblo, where she developed a deep love for her community.
Patricia was a remarkable woman of many talents and passions. She found joy in beading, crafting, photography, music, black powder rendezvous, and spending quality time with her grandchildren. An avid reader and movie fan, she enjoyed immersing herself in stories and cinema. Patricia also had a strong sense of spirituality and a unique gift of making everyone laugh with her quirkiness.
Throughout her life, Patricia achieved significant milestones. She raised three wonderful children, Trevor, Tyler, and Trent, instilling in them values of kindness and resilience. She became a Reverend, touching the lives of many with her compassion and faith. She was one of the first female loop technicians for Mountain Bell and in her younger days earned recognition as a demolition derby queen. Later in life Patricia went back to school to pursue her passion for teaching, becoming an elementary school teacher and positively impacting the lives of her students. This included starting chess club for elementary students to teach critical thinking and strategy in young minds.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Patricia dedicated herself to volunteer work. She organized crafting and beading activities for cancer survivors, bringing light and joy to those facing difficult times. Also served a role as a victim’s advocate, working with the local police to support trauma victims. Her enthusiasm for community involvement guided her to be active within Pueblo culture, including member of the Alpha Mu Delta sorority, Pueblo Art Guild, Southern Colorado Photography Society, Pueblo Divine Science Church.
Patricia leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and service. She is survived by her three children and seven grandchildren: Trevor Artichoker (wife Daphne Artichoker, children Kody, Kade, Kasey and wife Mikaella Wolfe), Tyler Artichoker (wife Melanie Artichoker, children Jackson and Jayden), and Trent Artichoker (wife Caroline Artichoker, children Benjamin and Linnea). Nephews/Niece Barry Williams, Brian Williams, and Sheri (Jarod) Flynn.
A celebration of Patricia's life will be held at The Pueblo Elks Lodge #90 on May 19th, 2024, seating at 11:00am, service 11:30am.
