Born Sharon June Marckx on October 21st, 1947, in Tacoma, Washington, to Nellie June (Furnish) Marckx (originally of Missoula Montana, born June 8th, 1909) and Hilary Frank Marckx (a Fundamentalist Northern Baptist Minister originally from Douglas, Alaska, born January 14th, 1903). Survived by her older brother, Hilary Frank Marckx the 2nd (also a minister himself in Geyserville, California). Sharon is also survived by her oldest daughter Monique Renee (Weir) Miller, younger son Rocky Eugene Selzler, a granddaughter Andrea Renee Lewis, a grandson Allister Moon, a grandson Brian Eugene Selzler and so far three (3) great-grand children.
Sharon lived in multiple places from Troutdale WA. to Ely NV to San Francisco, CA. to Portland OR where she graduated David Douglas High School in 1965. She worked as a cocktail waitress and manager at night clubs in Portland OR. such as Taylors View Point as well as a few others. She was living in Oregon City OR. in later years and worked as a Care Giver in places like Sierra Vista Care Center in the 1980's. In later years she attended Clackamas Community College for three (3) years and received three (3) Associate Degrees, attended Concordia University and received several Bachelor Degrees and other honors during three (3) years of attendance there!!
Sharon was baptized in February 1993 into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Oregon City, OR. She worked in the Oregon City Stake Center Family History Center as a Family History Specialist for a time. In later years she lived in Long View WA., Portland, OR. Oregon City, OR. and Mulino, OR.
Sharon died on May 2nd, 2004 at approx. 1:45 A.M. at the Heritage House of Woodburn (Oregon).
