Michael Connor Galbreath, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on May 3, 2024 at the age of 23 years. Michael was born on July 10, 2000 in Scottsdale, Arizona to Brian and Sheresa (Mergner) Galbreath. After graduating from Barry Goldwater High School, Class of 2018, Michael attended Northern Arizona University working towards his degree in Criminal Justice. In Phoenix, he also worked at the Arizona Humane Society and Bell Ford.
Michael was able to travel with his family a lot, mostly to the Caribbean islands. He enjoyed going to concerts and loved music. He also enjoyed going to zoos and aquariums, as well as going to the Cardinals games on Sundays with his family.
Michael loved all animals. Friends and coworkers described him as the “dog whisperer”. He enjoyed reading, mostly books about animals (Warrior Cats) and Wizards (Harry Potter). He loved crystals, tarot cards, and his cats. Michael was a very caring person. He had more people that cared for him than he knew about. Although he has tragically passed at a young age, he has touched more people’s lives than most ever do in their full lifetime.
Michael is survived by his parents Brian and Sheresa; his sister Kristina Galbreath; and his two grandmothers Connie Belen and Cindy Mergner.
A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 10:00 am at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
