Peacefully at her residence on Sunday April 28th, 2024, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Daniel Longauer. Loving mother of Lance, Steve (Nancy), Ray (Stacey), Ted (Cathy), and Suzanne (the late Kevin). Cherished Nana of Ashley, Michael, Valerie (Bryan), Greg (Charlena), Julie, Maya, Nate, Daniel, Sean (Raquelle), Bridget, Mark, Thomas (Emma), Marisa (Tyler), and her great grandchildren Kaiden, Charlotte, Gemma, Abby and Katie. Dear sister of the late Jack Lyons and survived by her sister-in-law Catherine Lyons. Margaret will be fondly remembered by her niece Michele (Paul) and her nephew Mike (Tracey), her extended family and by her many special friends. She was a caregiver to her entire family. She lovingly supported her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in all aspects of their lives. Margaret was a committed person of faith. She was a lover of music, the arts, sports, food and family gatherings. Margaret was a beacon of love and acceptance and will shine through all of the many lives she affectionately nurtured.
Visitation will be held at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West on Monday May 6th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, 903 Giffard Street, Whitby on Tuesday May 7th at 11:00 a.m.
