Zatelli, Clifford "Cliff" Leonard, January 17, 1945 - May 3, 2024, passed away peacefully at home with his family near his side. He was preceded in death by his parents Rolando and Jesse Marie Zatelli and his sister and brother, Sandra Harrison and William Zatelli. He is survived by his son Brian A. Zatelli, grandson Joseph A. Zatelli, beloved friend Darlene Tharp, and sister Edith Ponsonby.
Cliff was drawn to a life of service straight out of high school enlisting in the Army and serving from May 1962 to March 1965 and again from June 1965 to May 1968. He then reenlisted in the Air Force from September 1971 to December 1986. He proudly served his country in the Vietnam War, where he exhibited unwavering courage and commitment to his fellow soldiers, earning not only many accolades but also the respect and admiration of all who served alongside him. After retiring from active duty, Cliff continued serving his country as a federal employee at Tinker Air Force Base.
Cliff was born in Suttersville, Pennsylvania, so naturally, he was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, so he enjoyed watching games with friends and family. Cliff loved playing golf, cooking the most amazing Italian meals, and spending time with friends and family.
He dedicated himself to his family, spending time and showing unconditional love to his son, Brian Zatelli, and grandson, Joseph Zatelli. He enjoyed movies with family, dinner with friends, and nightly walks with his beloved friend Darlene.
His wisdom, strength, unconditional love, and unwavering loyalty have left a positive and loving impact on his family and friends, and he will forever be missed.
