Beatrice G. Burns

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Beatrice G. Burns, a cherished wife, mother sister, grandmother and friend. Born in 1925, Bea spent her life spreading the joy of Jesus to everyone she met. Bea was born in Soddy Daisy, TN to Elsia Housley and Mollie Penney. Bea worked as a sewing machine operator for 30 years until she retired, she enjoyed working in her yard and talking care of her family. But Bea will be remembered most for her unquestioning devotion to God. She is survived by her sister Maryann, 3 Granddaughters Vicki Gray, Dana Crossman and Candice Anderson, 7 Great Grandchildren, 10 Great Great Grandchildren and countless niece's and nephews. A service to celebrate her life will be held on May 9th, 2024, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. 23502 with a viewing from 10am to 11am with service and reception to follow Rest in peace Grandma, your spirit and love will continue to blossom in our hearts 💕
