Mildred Ruden Mufson of Monroe Village, NJ, passed away on May 1, just 8 weeks shy of her 100th birthday. Millie is survived by her beloved children and their families - daughter Seena Peck (Thomas, dec.), twin sons Larry (Betsy Fillmore) and Michael (Lauri Black), and adored grandchildren Tucker Peck (Christopher Lam), Harrison Peck, Dan Mufson (Justine), Haley Fiebach (Michael), and Hannah Mufson. Millie was also a loving great grandmother to Levi and Sonny Fiebach and Zoe and Benjamin Mufson. Her husband Herbert predeceased her in 1982.
Mildred was raised off the Grand Concourse in the Bronx, was a proud graduate of NYU Class of 1946, and a beloved educator in Old Bridge, NJ. She loved travel, theater, good books, classical music, a good game of Canasta, and most importantly, spending time with her family – her greatest joy. Her chopped liver recipe, famed across the Tristate Area, goes to the grave with her.
