Mary Ann Spatola (Rosenthal), age 68, passed away on April 30, 2024. Loving wife of Rich Rosenthal; mother of Katherine (Matt), James (Ally) and Will; grandmother of Cole, Annie and Jack. Born on November 25, 1955 in Mineola, New York. Mary Ann received her Bachelors Degree in Art History from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and a Masters Degree in Media Studies from the New School. She worked in advertising in New York and London, as well as was a volunteer teacher in those cities. Mary Ann was particularly focused on helping children— especially children with special needs. She volunteered in London and Africa to assist children having hearing and speech difficulties. Mary Ann also liked to collect various reminders of her trips from around the world. She had a true fondness for antiques, and delivered lectures on this subject in London. Mary Ann delightfully touched many lives, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A service will be held on May 7th at 11 AM at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home, 1076 Madison Avenue, New York, New York— with a reception immediately after. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association
