Virginia Clements (Rosenbush), 97, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family on Sunday, April 21, 2024, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born on October 29, 1926, in Memphis, Tennessee.
Virginia was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She married her late husband, Cecil Clements, in Memphis, Tennessee, and together they shared a beautiful life. After their marriage, they moved to New Orleans, where they resided until 2004, before relocating to St. Louis, Missouri, where Virginia spent the last 20 years of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Clements, and her granddaughter, Amanda Clements. She is survived by her devoted son, Curtis Clements, and his wife, Bonnie Clements, her beloved daughter, Colleen Kashif, and her husband, Mohammed Kashif. Virginia was a loving grandmother to her grandsons, Brian Clements (Carrie) and Saleem Kashif (Katy), and her granddaughter, Aisha Lubinski (Jon). She was also blessed with six great-grandchildren.
Virginia was a lifelong member of First Church Of Christ, Scientist in New Orleans, where her faith was an integral part of her life.
A funeral service to celebrate Virginia's life will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will start at 9:00 am followed by the service at 11:00 am. The family is also planning a memorial service in St. Louis on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity or organization, in honor of Virginia's memory.
