Peggy Kieffer Brouillette of Covington, LA, passed away peacefully at the age of 79, surrounded by family on May 1st, 2024. Peggy was born on January 21st, 1945 to Jack and Ethel Kieffer in New Orleans, and is a graduate of Warren Easton High School, Class of ’62.
She was predeceased by her parents and survived by her husband, Raymond Brouillette, her daughter, Jeanne Brouillette Maumus (Oscar), her son, Ray Brouillette, Jr. (Kimberely), her grandkids, Angele Maumus, Danielle Maumus, Oscar Maumus, Morgan Maumus, Raymond Brouillette, III, Amelie Brouillette, and Jolie Brouillette, her sister, Patsy Kieffer Cain (Louie), and her cousin, Margie Henrikson (Larry).
Special thanks to her first cousin, Deacon Ricky Suprean, and the spiritual support he provides.
Peggy lived for taking care of the things she loved; her husband of 60 years, her children, her pets, the cooking, and her garden, especially the daylilies. She enjoyed her monthly visits with the Warren Easton Lunch Bunch.
In honor of her wishes, Peggy will be cremated and placed in her final resting place at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
A small private ceremony will be held with close family.
