He is survived by his wife, Jane Parrish, daughter, Lindsey Byers, son-in-law, Scott Byers, and grandson, Drew Byers.
His loving family includes Donna Estepp (Bob), Shirley Parrish, Tim Parrish, Pam Batey (Joe), Margie Hounihan (Champ), Tom Parrish (Beth), and lifelong friend, Margaret Verble. Vince also leaves behind many loving family members, friends, and colleagues.
Vince is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Penny Parrish, and siblings Debbie Winter and Mike Parrish.
He was a social worker, therapist, and educator who valued kindness and curiosity. Vince was a graduate of Bellarmine University and held graduate degrees from Peabody College and the University of Tennessee. He was a member of AA for 36 years and Arlington Street Church in Boston.
There will be a celebration of his life on June 2nd at 4:00pm at
The Barn at Firefly Lane, 1464 Big Barton’s Creek Road Dickson, TN 37055.
Vince requested that attendees wear bright colors.
