Obituary of Michael Patrick Bardaro
Michael Patrick Bardaro, 73, passed away on May 1, 2024. He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Vincent Bardaro, his children Jennifer Bardaro Mauck (Douglas Jr.), Ryan Bardaro (Kristen), Nicole Bardaro Sebetic (Matt), six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and sister, Marie Ferraro. Mike was born on September 22, 1950, and raised in Canton, Ohio. After attending Central Catholic High School, he majored in accounting at the University of Cincinnati. Throughout his 40-year CPA career, Mike held numerous executive positions. Notably, he served as Senior Vice President of AMF Bowling Inc and Vice President of Finance for WorldStrides. During his time in these roles, he was given the opportunity to travel the globe and make lasting professional contributions. Among his fondest memories were vacations spent in Kiawah Island, his favorite beach destination, where he indulged in his passion for golf, as well as visiting his favorite nearby city, Charleston. Upon his retirement, you could often find Mike playing golf and pickleball at Salisbury Country Club. He also cherished his time relaxing on the couch watching sports with his beloved grand-dog and sidekick, Layla, the goldendoodle. Always in pursuit of nice weather and, you guessed it, a good round of golf, Mike spent his winter months in Vero Beach, FL. With his easy-going personality, Mike connected well with people. He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his sharp intellect, and his witty humor. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Following a private graveside service at Westhampton Cemetery, the family extends an invitation to attend the memorial service at St. Edward's Catholic Church on Friday, May 10th, at 1:00 pm, with a reception to follow at Salisbury Country Club at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
